ugly win is still a win...

I'm going to stay on the Suns theme... They won again on Saturday. It was not a very impressive win, but a win nonetheless. It took 4 quarters to put away the upstart Nets in N.J. Right now is a good time for an ice, cold refreshing Arizona manufactured home. At home or on the road, nothing goes down more smoothly than manufactured homes in Arizona. There's my tribute to Al McCoy. Love ya, brother! Good man that Al McCoy. Anyway, Suns will face the Denver Nuggets two games in a row. I hate it when they schedule games like that... I think they are back to back games too- tonight in Phx and Tues in Denver. NBA wackos... Oh well, not my problem. I just have to say Arizona manufactured homes one more time and I am gold!

At home or on the road...

Its always a good time to enjoy the great taste of Bud Light. Well spoken, Al. I love those plugs Al McCoy throws in for Bud Light right in the middle of calling the Suns games. Hey, wouldn't it be cool if he could do the same thing, except for Black Hawk instead of Bud Light. Oh, that would be like a dream come true for me! It might sound something like this: Steve Nash dribbles at the top of the key, Amare comes up to set the high screen, Nash drives left side, lofts up a pass toward the rim, Amare elevates and jams it home! Oh, brother. Great pass by Nash. Speaking of jamming it home, jam to your heart's content in a new manufactured home by Black Hawk Homes. Thanks, Al. Maybe we can sponsor the 3-point shot. I think Fulton Homes donates $150 to Suns charities every time they sink one at home. What if we offer $200! We'd have to sell a lot more manufactured homes to afford that action! Would be cool, though...

Suns need a win!

Don't even get me started. The Suns need a win to stay in the hunt for Pacific Division Champs. I freakin' hate the Lakers! Since the last time I blogged, the Suns lost to Boston in a rout. They kicked our ass bad. Can't blame the refs for that loss. You can't blame me for saying manufactured home out of nowhere like I was Al McCoy. But I have to because this is, afterall, a manufactured home blog. The whole point is to use these key words three times in a post and guess what? I've done it twice already. Here's the last one- Arizona manufactured homes. Yes.

suns lose : (

Now I wish I didn't rush home to watch that game. Referees robbed the Suns out of a win last night. If I knew that was going to happen, I would've found something else to do with my time. Anyway, continuing our endless barrage of blogging about manufactured homes... I am pre-occupied with closing one of our deals. Get this, we've been working on a deal for this lady for more than a month. The finance company comes up with more and more conditions as we go... That always frustrates me to no end! Why can't you come up with ALL of the conditions UP FRONT? Is that so hard? Apparently it is... This particular lender is notorious for this crap. I won't name names, but don't push me! They came up with one I've never seen before. They want a copy of the SELLER'S driver's license. What the hell is that all about? I understand needing the BUYER'S drivers license and SS card, but the seller? No way, weirdos. I guess if we want the loan to fund, we'll get the copy for them. Freaks. OK, I'm done- its making more more mad. Arizona manufactured homes. Thats what its all about. Black Hawk Homes and the manufactured homes we sell. Thank you and good day....

SUNS WIN!

Speaking of the Suns, they've won 7 straight! AWESOME! They have a big test coming up on this eastern road trip. Tonight, wait... right now they are playing the Pistons. Crap, I need to quit blogging and go home! OK, here goes. Arizona manufactured homes are home to the Phoenix Suns! Probably not, but they could be! When Steve Nash signed back with the Suns, he asked me if he could get a great deal on a manufactured home in Arizona through Black Hawk Homes. OK, no he did not, but if he did, I would help him buy one! Of course everyone knows Shaq has been shopping for a new home since the big trade. Hey big man! Yeah, YOU! Come on down to Black Hawk and pick out a triple wide manufactured home for your posse. GO SUNS!

On track

I guess we're back on track now. I'm getting a workout brain-wise with all of these blogs. I am up to nine as of today! I need to keep it simple because this is killing me. With that, as I always like to say, at home or on the road nothing goes down like a smooth and refreshing Bud Light. No... that wasn't it, but I love it when Al McCoy does that segway from the Suns game into a Bud Light promo. Totally out of nowhere------- pass to Shaq, he dunks! He tears down the rim, the crowd is going wild, and now would be a great time to relax with an ice-cold Budweiser! The king of beers! Oh, damn. Haven't got in my key words.... Here go- Arizona manufactured homes by Black Hawk Homes. Web site is coming along. Little slower than before, but its getting there. Ted is doing a fine job. Manufactured homes can't be that thrilling for the lad... Oh well, he's getting paid. Anyway, don't look for any more amusement for this post. We'll just give it one more manufactured homes and call it a day. Bye Bye

off topic

I seem to be off-topic lately on this blog. Maybe just for one day we'll come back to the point. Point is, of course, to promote Black Hawk Homes, the leading retailer for manufactured homes in Arizona. (pretty good, eh?) The new web site was supposed to launch around 4/1/08. At this point, I don't think we're going to make it. It won't be much longer, I promise. There is a lot of tedious stuff to put on there, so I know that is hindering poor Ted. We'll get it up and running though, and when we do- watch out! I am in the midst of a big campaign to increase our internet presence. Manufactured homes will be flying out of the factory when this is over! Ha! This blogging is making me tired.... I'm out. Here's one for the road- Black Hawk Homes. Arizona manufactured homes. God bless you all! : )

No Green

I was bad yesterday. I did not wear green. I did not drink. I did not go to any parties. I did not listen to U2. I did not eat Lucky Charms, nothing. I didn't even get a wee bit of the Irish! Dang. No worries. I have this blog. Dedicated to my unending work here at Black Hawk Homes. The blog mission is in full force. As of today, I'm up to 7 of them. I will have to create at least 10 and then continue to update them daily. Kinda losing track of whats what here... I actually have a method to all of this madness believe it or not! I won't reveal my secrets, though! Ha! The web site is coming along although I'm concerned if we will be ready to launch by 4/1/08. Black Hawk Homes is soon to have the best web site ever seen by the manufactured home industry. Its only fitting that the most progressive company in the entire industry is to have the best grasp and control over available technology. Move over old school! The new school is in session! Arizona's new #1 manufactured home dealer- Black Hawk Homes! Has a nice ring to it, huh? We need to go national!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Dang! I posted to every blog before I realized it is St. Patrick's day today! Better late than never, I guess. St. Patty's is one of those not really a holiday holidays. No one gets a day off, no one goes on vacation, banks are open, the post office is open, I AM WORKING. Just what the hell kind of holiday is this anyway? Answer: A drinking one! Ah, yes. A wee bit of the Irish! God bless you people. You don't really need to have a whole holiday in order to drink some beer though, do ya? Nevertheless, St. Patty's day is on the calendar every year and will be for all eternity. What does this have to do with manufactured homes in Arizona? Absolutely nothing. So what. I can make up something easy enough... I got it- St. Patrick's day SALE at Black Hawk Homes! Just come on in to our sales center today wearing green AND holding a green beer. You must then give that green beer to me... After that, I'll make you a great deal on a brand new manufactured home! How's that?! It'll be a fine time, lassy! Is that Scottish? Whatever, man. Same island. Bring your Irish Spring soap, green beer, and U2 CD's down to Black Hawk Homes today and get the best deal you could every dream of on a new manufactured home from Black Hawk... I mean GREEN HAWK Homes! Today only. Don't worry Cindo de Mayo is only a couple months away. There's another drinking holiday. Lushes.

Saturday!

Hello all! Its Saturday so lets keep it light, huh? I'm still reeling a bit from yesterday's news about the fall of big-time chattel mortgage lender Origen Financial. As if it wasn't hard enough to get loans on manufactured homes. Now, all the more difficult! It is my sincere hope that financing manufactured homes in parks will become easier again. As it stands, the underwriting is very strict. Basically, to finance a manufactured home in a park, one must have really good credit, at least 5-10% down, and a home that will appraise for the asking price- actually 95% of the asking price. I don't know any lenders that will lend 100% value at the moment. We have a little more flexibility on NEW manufactured homes, but not a lot. Conditions very tough. Black Hawk Homes will see it through. We're not afraid of tough times. We're not just strong, we're Army strong... Well, not really. I just like their tag line. I'll have to come up with one for us... hasta luego compadres!

Get your blog on!

Dang. I really see the error of my blogging ways today. Yesterday, Ted (the web man) explained to me the correct way to do this. Now, I see what I have been doing wrong. Sh#@!
Well, we only lost a couple days worth. I'll get us back on track. So far, I've been compelled to talk about the demise of Origen Financial. I found out early this morning that they will no longer accept applications or write any new loans for manufactured homes. Bad news indeed... Origen was one of the biggest chattel mortgage lenders in the whole country! This is going to have a nasty ripple affect across the manufactured home industry. There are hardly any lenders in place as it is. Now, one less. Two years ago, Greentree Servicing backed out of the arena. They were also one of the big boyz in the business. Without 2 giants in the chattel lending market, even tougher times lie ahead. Land lease communities are sure to take the biggest hit from this one. Without financing, buying is difficult. Hard to argue that fact. Only a very small percentage of buyers are walking around with cash in full ready to go! What are we supposed to do? As a retailer, we can adjust our target market. Black Hawk Homes has already done that. As a matter of fact, we started doing it long before there were so many problems with the chattel lending. The parks, however, are stuck. Unless they want to change over... Thats kind of a pain in the butt, though. Its not an overnight thing. Ah well, enough said. We're doomed...

rise & shine

Time to rise & shine Black Hawk! New day, new blog. Lets pump up the jamz! Question.? Should our new web site have music? At first, I thought no. Now, I kinda like the idea. Users certainly must have the ability to turn it on/off. I even thought we'd bring some variety to it. You know, different types of music to choose from... Classical, jazz, rock, r&b, whatever. I don't expect anyone to comment on this here. Maybe when we launch the web site some people will give us feedback about the music. Hmmm. Will music encourage or discourage the buying of our manufactured homes? I think we'll give it a chance. Hey, we're on the edge, man! Adios

Anticipation!

Just like Heinz ketchup- the anticipation is killing me! Black Hawk Homes new web site is set to launch on or about 4/1/08! I am touting this new site as the best in the entire housing industry! Granted, when it debuts, it won't be 100% complete. There will be a couple key features that will have to be constructed, but the main ingredients of a solid web site will be in play. People will be able to search our inventory, check out our new home lines, apply for credit on line, and much more! Manufactured and modular housing retailers are gonna be green with envy! I can't wait! All buyers of mobile homes, manufactured homes, modular homes take note! The best retailer in Arizona is about to become the best in the world wide web! Nice!

lets get busy!

Hey now! Not what you think... Its time to get busy blogging up Black Hawk Homes! Our new web site is still under construction. I know this thing is going to blow the doors off of our competitors! The look of the site is a huge departure from what is there now. People will enjoy the user friendliness of the new site. I think the text is even a little bigger so people can actually see whats on there! Manufactured homes come in a variety of sizes, styles, and prices. Which one will be right for you? Good news is, Black Hawk Homes' new web site will give you the power to find the right one. Maybe even the power to create the right one! Who knows...?

By the way, that one vote so far on the poll... yeah, that was me. (As if one couldn't guess)
Seriously though, I believe Obama will win in '08.

1st blog

Hey now! Welcome to anyone who happens upon the official Black Hawk Homes blog page. My name is eck and I'll be your host today and every day for that matter... Our immediate goal is to head traffic toward our new web site, which will debut around April 1 2008! The upgraded site will be a serious improvement from what exists now on blackhawkproperty.com. The new site will be a flash based format and is going to look very slick! Now, we are a manufactured home dealer, so its all about our homes and services. But for those in the market for a new home, this will be the premier site on the entire web- trust! It is my belief this new site will raise the eyebrows not only of folks in the manufactured home industry, but the entire housing industry! I don't want to give away too many secrets here. You'll have to keep coming back to hear whats on tap! I'll share a little bit, I guess. In the meantime, if you have any questions, comments, etc. feel free to post. This blog is going to be quite active at least until we generate hits to the new site! I'm looking forward to having fun with this. Don't be shy- join in!

Fun in the sun!
